Description:
- Interesting case presentations provide a venue for the discussion of rare and unusual cases that highlight the diagnostic value of echo and Doppler cardiography & allied techniques in the management of patients with cardiovascular diseases
- The session will take place on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2009, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
Deadline:
- Materials for presentation must be submitted to the Congress Secretariat by 5:00pm on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2009. Revisions will not be permitted after submission deadline.

- Cases for presentation will be selected by a panel of distinguished echocardiographers. Letters of acceptance co-signed by the Congress President, Congress Secretary and ISCU President will be sent to selected submissions.
Format:
- Abstract must be no more than 250 words
- Write up must be in English and needs to be submitted on white paper with the title in capital letters followed on the next line with names of the authors, institute or hospital, city, state and country. Underline presenting author's name.
- Clips of moving images can be submitted in video format or as MPG, .MOV, .AVI or animated .GIF files. Authors are advised to use a readily available program to create video clips that can be easily viewed with Windows Media Player, QuickTime or similar programs.
- There is no limit to the number of cases an investigator may submit; however these should not appear to replicate a similar study. Should authors' names appear on more than 1 case, these must appear and be spelled identically on each for proper indexing. Whenever possible, authors' names are not to be listed with initials only.
- Cases selected for presentation are limited to max of 10 minutes (8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for question/discussions)
